Rules & Regulations


Men & Women's Flour Packing


1.) Registration fee of $ 20.00 per person is required at the time of registration. No other entries will be accepted once the event starts. Entry fee is non-refundable.

2.) Treaty and York Boat Days protest mandate shall apply to this event.

3.) There will be a set amount of weight for both the men and women, men will carry 400 pounds and the women will carry 300 pounds.

4.) The competitor that carries the weight the furthest distance is declared the winner.

5.) In a case where there is a distance tie, the competitor with the least amount of time will be declared the winner of the tie-breaker.

6.) Once the competitor has said he/she is ready or takes a step, they have to finish. Absolutely NO EXCUSES are allowed (e.g. the flour slipped or head strap is too long/short, etc.).

7.) There will be NO GRACE time for competitors who have entered in other events. No show at the start of the event, you will be disqualified.

8.) Any verbal abuse to the coordinators and judges will not be tolerated, competitors doing so will result in immediate disqualification from the event.

9.) Treaty and York Boat Days Committee will not be responsible for any lost/stolen articles or any injuries incurred during this event. (Waiver forms are to be filled out and signed)
