2.) All paddlers must be at the race preparation site at 8:00AM, so that all canoes can be inspected to make sure all rivots are visible on the canoe. If no rivots are visible, you will be designated another canoe.

3.) All seats must not be adjustable.

4.) All paddlers must wear or carry CSA approved life preserver.

5.) All paddlers must provide their own racing style paddles to include a spare paddle.

6.) The designated route and portages will be explained and shown on a map. Rescue boats will lead and follow paddlers.

7.) Canoes will be supplied "Grumman" or "Marathon" with absolutely no alterations to the interior of canoes.

8.) In the event of a protest, a fee of $500.00 (non-refundable) must be paid in advance to include a written report of the incident. They must be given to the coordinator(s) before the end of the race or prize money is given out.
