Kamaskawisit Event
(Strong Man/Woman Competition)

There will be five events consisting of: Tire Flip, Level Hold, Truck Pull, The Farmers Walk & Cast Iron Pull.

Events will take place at the Rossville Pavilion.

1.) Registration fee of $30.00 per person is required before start of the event. No late registrations will be accepted. Entry fee is non-refundable after the first event has started.

2.) Competitors can use safety equipment, i.e. gloves, shoes, safety belt, etc.

3.) The Treaty and York Boat Days protest mandate shall apply to this event

4.) The decisions of the Head Judge will be final

5.) Designated course will be marked and/or instructed to all contestants before the start of each event.

6.) A point system will be used. Points will be awarded to all competitors. The competitor with the most points at the end of the event will be declared the winner.

7.) In the event of a tie, the competitor with the least amount of combined time in the Tire Flip, Level Hold, Truck Pull and Cast Iron Pull events will be declared the winner of the tiebreaker. (Note: The Farmers Walk is a distance event.)

8.) Any verbal abuse to the coordinators and judges will not be tolerated, competitors doing so will result in immediate disqualification from the whole event and any spectators doing so will be escorted from the event site.

Tire Flip:
- Competitors must flip an industrial tire over a certain distance
- There is a 90 second time limit
- Each competitor gets one attempt
- Quickest time wins or if time runs out the distance will be measured
- In the event of a time tie, points for respective places will be split between competitors.

Level Hold:
- Competitors must hold weights in each hand with arms extended straight out towards the side. Men - 25lb weights Women - 15lb weights
- Each competitor will get one attempt
- Longest time wins
- In the event of a time tie, points for respective places will be split between competitors.

Truck Pull:
- Competitors will pull a truck from a start point to a finish line
- There is a 60 second time limit
- Each competitor gets one attempt
- Quickest time wins.
- In the event of a time tie, points for respective places will be split between competitors.

Farmers Walk:
- Competitors will carry weights in each hand and walk until the weights has dropped
- Each competitor gets one attempt
- Furthest distance wins
- In the event of a distance tie, the competitor with the least amount of time will be declared the winner of the tiebreaker

Cast Iron Pulling:
- Hand over hand pulling of a cast iron object weighing at 150 lbs
- Object will be pulled with a rope while sitting down
- There is a time limit of 60 seconds
- Quickest time wins or if not completed by the time limit, distance will be measured
- In the event of a time tie, points for respective places will be split between competitors.
